Oleic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid in numerous animals and vegetable fats and oils. This is further classified as monounsaturated omega 9 fatty acid. It is a yellow color odourless oil which is packed using suitable techniques to prevent it from spilling while storage or transit. The boiling point of this acid is ‎360.0 ± 0.0°C at 760 mmHg. It has its melting point at 13oC to 14oC. Oleic Acid is widely acknowledged for its important therapeutic properties.
